AGUA DE FLORIDA (FLORIDA WATER)

For our signature Agua de Florida, we intentionally chose ingredients that are ethically sourced, organic (whenever possible), and all natural (no chemical elements whatsoever!) so this fragrant water can be used on the body and in the home, as well as in ceremony. Handcrafted in small batches with loving intention. It is designed intentionally to clear even the most stubborn of heavy energies, and offers an uplifting and heavenly fragrance that is not cloying and will not linger too long after use.
PALO SANTO SPRAY
Ingredients: Palo Santo Oil, Ethyl Alcohol; Purified Water
For this fragrant water, we had one intention: to create a classic Palo Santo spray for grounding, clearing and protection that could be used in shamanic ceremonies and healing work, as well as for a room fragrance or even a body spray. It was also extremely important for us to not contribute to the ubiquitous over-harvesting of Palo Santo, which is why we chose to work with a source who distills Palo Santo oil ethically and sustainably from harvested dead wood (read more on this at the bottom of this listing).
Our Palo Santo Spray is handcrafted with the best organic and natural ingredients and contains no chemicals, artificial colors or additives. Due to the all-natural nature of this product, we advise shaking before use. Due to variations in ingredient sources and plant materials, the scent profile may vary slightly between batches.
AGUA DE ROSAS (Rose Water)
Ingredients: 100% Natural Organic Rose Water
Rose Water, or Agua de Rosas ("Water of Roses"), is one of our "go-to" fragrances in our shamanic toolbox, as it has beautiful heart healing, heart-opening and energetic clearing properties. However, our Rose Water is not at all limited to shamanic or ceremonial use. This all-natural spray can be used on the face and body as a refreshing "spritz" or as a room and/or linen freshener.
Our superb Rose Water/Hydrosol is a certified organic, 100% pure and natural food-grade product that does not contain any additives, preservatives or synthetic substances. This very special hydrosol contains about 0.10% of Rose essential oil (aka Rose Otto) - a remarkably high percentage - as a result of a second distillation called cohobation. Rose oil acts as a natural preservative, and keeps the hydrosol stable and free of microbial contamination for 18 months from the date of production.

THE ORIGINS of OUR AGUA de FLORIDA
A few years ago, I was completing a dieta under the supervision of my teacher Javier Regueiro and his teacher Don Francisco Montes Shuña. I was taken aback that at the beginning of each ceremony, after drinking the Ayahuasca medicine, Don Francisco would take a swig of Murray and Lanman Florida Water and actually swallow it! As it contains denatured alcohol and many other chemical elements...this shocked me. When I asked him about this the next day, he explained that "the medicine brings the visions, the Agua de Florida brings the songs..." And that this is how he was taught by his grandmother so many years ago...
Now I know that there are several other hand-made Florida Waters on the market, and that the idea wasn't revelatory. But it was at that moment that I decided I would like to develop my own variety for HanaqPacha, one with all-natural ingredients and that was a hybrid of the classic Agua de Florida recipes but with additional elements that would aid in the clearing of more "sticky" energies.
The result is our own original recipe which we are quite pleased with. It is unique, fragrant, and suitable for ceremony or as a room spray or body spray. A special thanks to Timothy Van Ausdal, Florida Water Scholar and Fragrance Expert who did most of the heavy lifting over the course of the last year on developing this fragrance, as well as the always talented Brian Griffith for the stellar design work.

A NOTE ABOUT PALO SANTO
We are aware of and very concerned about the over-harvesting of Palo Santo in the Amazon. For this reason, our Palo Santo Spray contains Palo Santo Oil that is ethically and sustainably harvested. From our source:
"Our Palo Santo is distilled in small batches from sustainably harvested wood. The aged, dead wood is gathered from the forest floor on Ecuador's Pacific coast, allowing the production of oil without any harm to the living trees. This in itself is a stellar example of life within death – that which we perceive as dead is most certainly very much alive. Among the living molecules that are resurrected upon distillation are none other than the familiar and ubiquitous limonene, alpha-terpineol – the claim to fame of Tea Tree – and menthofuran, the musty/minty terpenic compound notably found in Peppermint oils. The usefulness of these molecules, within the overall composition of Palo Santo essential oil, is varied – this oil is highly recommended for respiratory applications, but it may also be a great ally for psychological cleansing and when coping with life’s inevitable changes. A long-time distiller of Palo Santo oil observes that “when people come in contact with the essence of the tree, whether it is in the form of its essential oil or its fragrant wood, it has a deeply transformative effect, including nurturing, activating and manifesting their creative and spiritual potential.”

How can I be sure the kuripe I ordered will fit?
We have sold many kuripes and tepis over the years and very rarely have had one returned because of fit. Our designs are nearly universal and designed to fit just about everyone.
That said, we always suggest that once you receive your kuripe to "try it on" without hapé first to ensure a good fit. If you find it is not a good fit, please contact us and we'll work out a return or exchange (*please be sure you do this before you actually use it with hapé, because once it has been used, we are not able to accept returns for hygienic reasons).
If you have special sizing requests or you're not sure what you need, just ask and we'll be happy to help you!
I saw your Kuripe listings on another marketplace (Ali Baba, etc) with the same photos from your shop listings. The prices were really cheap! Do you sell there as well?
No! Our only online presence is our Etsy shop and on Instagram and Facebook.
If you're seeing our EXACT listing photos and copy for goods (specifically Kuripes or Tepis) on Ali Baba (or elsewhere), for impossibly low prices, please know THIS IS NOT US and it is a scam.
We work hard to protect our Intellectual Property (photos/copy) but it can be nearly impossible in this day and age with sites like Ali Baba, whose platform makes it difficult to file IP complaints, and which is overrun by scammers.

Can I return or exchange my item?
We do our best to accommodate all customer requests. We accept returns and exchanges for items that are not as described, do not fit, or are damaged.
We unfortunately cannot accept returns or exchanges for items that the buyer "does not connect with energetically" or "changes their mind" about after the fact. This is unfortunately a risk one takes purchasing metaphysical items online.
We also cannot accept returns or exchanges on products like used kuripes for hygienic reasons, or sprays that have been used/tested.
However if you received a product that does not fit, does not work, is not as described, or is otherwise problematic -- excluding the exemptions we've indicated here -- contact us & we will do our best to rectify it for you.

I provided an incorrect address for my order, what do I do?
If you provide an incorrect shipping address & catch it right after ordering, simply message us to let us know. If it’s caught right away there is usually no problem in updating the shipping address before we ship.
However, please understand that you, the buyer, are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address for your order. If you do not provide an accurate shipping address, we cannot be responsible for rerouting a parcel once it has left our hands.
If an item is returned due to an incorrect shipping address that you provided, we can reship, but will need to charge for the reshipping fees. This can get expensive and time-consuming. So please take a few seconds before submitting your order to ensure that all info is correct.
Any pro tips for a smooth transaction?
Yes! We ask only two things of our customers: 1.) Please read the entire item description before ordering and 2.) Please respect our shop and policies.
Most customer issues arise because someone did not read the item description or store policies. We spend a lot of time including DETAILED descriptions of each item, as well as at least 8 photos of each item. We do this to ensure our customers' satisfaction. However the one catch is that you need to read the information we provide so you can make an informed decision, to ensure that you will receive the exact thing you are in search of.
Not doing so risks lengthy and expensive return processes which are frustrating for all. So please read the descriptions and policies prior to ordering ;)
I live in the Los Angeles area, do you offer local pickup?
No, unfortunately we are not able to offer local pickup at this time. However we do ship just about daily and orders to the LA area typically will arrive in 1-2 days once shipped (Priority Shipping is generally 1 day in most cases).
Any tips for international buyers?
Yes! One tip really: we ask that you track your item periodically via Etsy once we ship.
Many times, international items experience long delays in customs (which is normal), and sometimes parcels are "held for collection" at the local post office of the buyer and need to be picked up, or else they will be returned to seller. It is the responsibility of the buyer to stay abreast of this, so they can be sure to attend to any collection or signature required by your local post office.
If an item is returned due to non-collection, you will need to file a claim with Etsy and/or wait until the item is returned to us (which may be months) for reshipment, and then pay for reshipment.
Much easier to track and stay updated!
I received my order and there's a problem, what should I do?
Please contact us right away and we will do whatever we can to resolve the issue.
While we know the initial reaction may be to leave a negative review, please reach out to us first and give us the opportunity to help you. We're not perfect, but we do take accountability when we are at fault or when we have made an error.
We want all our customers to have a positive shopping experience with us. We have a long history of excellent customer service and can help find a solution to almost anything.
Negative reviews should really be a last resort and are rarely warranted. We prefer to find solutions so that everyone is happy.
When I track my order it says it was delivered, but I haven't received it, what do I do?!
If an item is marked as "delivered" but not received, the next step is to speak with your local post office. It could mean it was misdelivered to an incorrect address or it may be waiting at the post office for you. If you provide the tracking number to a manager at the post office they can explore.
If you do not have success with this, you can open up a case with Etsy for an item not received. Often times Etsy may directly compensate the buyer in these circumstances: help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/5745586898199-How-to-Open-a-Case-?segmen...
